NARROWS, Va. – He’s been considered by some as one of the more prolific athletes to come through Narrows High School. Kolier Pruett effects change whether on the court or field and will have the chance to do so in college.
The 6-foot-4 multi-sport athlete has decided to focus on his basketball skills as he committed to UVA-Wise on a full scholarship.
You’ll recall Pruett earned VHSL Class 1 First-Team honors for basketball and football during his senior season.
“Just the family mentality down there,” Pruett said. “They really recruited me hard down the stretch and I could tell they wanted me more than anyone else really. It felt like home. It’s like a weight off my shoulders and I can focus on my game and improving before school starts.”
